How to get here: In Settings on the PDF or RTF Configuration tab, select Files & Format > Output Options > Links

The link graphic and the text see page followed by the page number appear as link text in PDF documents. 

You can use the following variables, which are replaced as listed below, as link text instead.

Variable
Meaning
%G%
The link graphic appears at the position of the variable.
%T%
Is replaced by the title of the target topic.
%T,%
Is replaced by the title of the target topic followed by a comma.
%P%
Is replaced by the page number of the target topic.
  1. To format link text in preformatted text underlined only, select the Don't format links in preformatted text blocks check box.

link text The text that represents the link in the PDF document. 

link graphic In Doc-O-Matic an arrow that indicates a link in the created PDF document. The link graphic can be replaced by the user. 

target topic The topic to which a link goes to. 

preformatted text In Doc-O-Matic text that is formatted preformat or as code.
