You can:

  • Create a link from each topic to the index page.
  • Add text to the index page, by creating a Special Topic !!INDEX.
  • Add a dynamic search to the index page on the Files & Format > Output Options > Index Page page.
  • Add case sensitive and whole word search to the dynamic search on the Files & Format > Output Options > Index Page page.
  • Set the number of columns you want to show on your index page.
  • Omit headers and footers on the index page.
  • Apply character and paragraph styles to the index page use these Formatting Elements:
Formatting Element
Meaning
Index Title
Formats the title of the index page.
Index Entries
Formats index entries on the index page.
Index Sub Entry
Formats index sub entries on the index page
Index Subheading
Formats the subheading capital letters (A-Z).
Index Anchor Links
Formats the anchors to the subheadings (letters A-Z) on the index page.
Special Topic Text (for all special topics)
Formats the added text to the special topic.
Index Search Form
Formats the added dynamic search form on the index page.

You can:
