How to get here: In Settings on the corresponding configuration tab, select AutoDoc > Project Database

Doc-O-Matic provides a method for using information from other project: Project databases. You can use this feature to link to other projects both Doc-O-Matic projects and other projects such MFC, .NET SDK and VCL. And you can use this feature to show ancestor classes from other projects in your graphical local class hierarchy.

  1. Switch to the Project Manager.
  2. On the Manage tab in the Files and Folder group, click Add More and then click Add Project Database.
  3. Find the .doxdb file you want to add.

Project databases for popular IDE Helps are stored in your Project databases sudirectory in the Doc-O-Matic directory: Borland.BDS_2005.DotNET.VCL.Help2.doxdb, Borland.BDS_2005.Win32.VCL.Help2.doxdb, Borland.BDS_2006.DotNET.VCL.Help2.doxdb, Borland.BDS_2006.Win32.VCL.Help2.doxdb, Borland.Delphi_5-7.Win32.VCL.WinHelp.doxdb, Microsoft.DevStudio_6.Win32.MFC.HTMLHelp.doxdb, Microsoft.VS_2003.DotNET.Windows-Forms.Help2.doxdb, Microsoft.VS_2005.DotNET.Windows-Forms.Help2.

automatic linking A Doc-O-Matic feature that automatically creates links from words or symbol names to topics the topic IDs of which are the same as the words or symbol names or can be associated with them. 

project database A file (.doxdb) containing all topic IDs of a Doc-O-Matic project as link targets for HTML Help systems and PDF.
