To insert a bulleted list

* List Item 1,
* List Item 2,
* List Item 3.

Bulleted lists start with a bullet character. Default list characters are "ox*+-#". Between the bullet character and the item text there must be at least one space and the item text must start on the same line as the bullet character.

To insert a numbered list

List Item 1,
List Item 2,
List Item 3.

A numbered list item starts with a number followed by a dot ".". There must be at least one space between the dot and the item text and the item text must start on the same line as the number.

To write multiline items

1. List Item 1
2. List Item 2 with longer,
   much longer text on two lines,
   even longer on three lines
3. List Item 3 with shorted text.

The second line of item 2 (and all subsequent lines of that item) must be indented at least the same amount as the first character of the item text in line one.

To insert a multilevel list

* List Item 1
  * List Item 2 indented
  * List Item 3 indented
* List Item 4 not indented

The second and the third items are indented. You can create lists with 10 levels of entries.
