Code Blocks

Use the code tag to format paragraphs as code. Text that is contained within code tags is formatted using a fixed pitch font and no white spaces are reduced. All text including all line feeds, spaces and tabs is copied to the output. All formatting you have applied in the block is preserved.

To escape entire code blocks and make Doc-O-Matic ignore any tags inside those blocks use the CDATA tag.

Note: </code> and </pre> are not ignored, they automatically terminate the block.
In the output the syntax will be highlighted according to the source language for the respective symbol for symbol topics and according to the project settings for general topics. To use a different If syntax highlighter add a language attribute to the code tag.
