Customizing Special Pages

Doc-O-Matic automatically generates tables of contents and indexes for each output. For Help systems it generates a welcome page and for PDF and RTF documents title pages. 

For each output there are several ways to remove these pages.

  1. On the Quick Access Toolbar, click Settings .
  2. Click the PDF or RTF Configuration tab.
  3. Select Files & Format > Output Options.
  4. Clear the corresponding page check box, to omit the page.
  5. To show the project title on the first content page of your PDF document, select the Project Title in Content check box. This setting is useful if you do not add a title page to your document.
  6. To show a copyright notice on the title page, select the Print Copyright on Title Page check box. You need to type a copyright notice in the Copyright box on the General Option page or the Files and Format page.
  1. On the Quick Access Toolbar, click Settings .
  2. Click a HTML Configuration tab.
  3. Select Files & Format > Output Options.
  4. Clear the corresponding check boxes.
  5. Select Files & Format > Files & Folders > Custom Welcome Page page.
  6. Browse to the file you want to use as Welcome page.
  7. Select Files & Format > Layout > Page Header/Page Footer > Links.
  8. Clear the Create a link to the contents page and Create a link to the index page check boxes, to omit links to these page.
