Default Setting

Only text enclosed by Javadoc tags but not Javadoc tags (both @@and \) are extracted.

To ignore certain Javadoc tags
  1. Select [General Settings]Sections.
  2. Select an section of the type Ignored Text.
  3. Enter the tag you want to ignore in the Javadoc box in the section definition.
To insert Javadoc tags in your source code
  1. Select [General Settings]EditorStandard.
  2. Under Insertion Standard select Javadoc.
Notes

Note that you can add Javadoc tags in the section definitions.

Terms

sections Logical areas topics and comment blocks can be divided into. 

starters Characters that indicate that a new section starts in Doc-O-Matic. 

default section A section that is used in Doc-O-Matic for text at the beginning of a topic that does not start with section starters. 

Javadoc A comment style that is processed by the Java compiler. 

ignored section A sections that is not included in the output.
