See AlsoWith Doc-O-Matic you can structure your documentation by assigning topics to groups and contents entries. In the Contents Design mode, you can easily move your topics. The Contents Design mode is turned on by default.
In the Contents Design mode you can:
- Move topics by using a drag-and-drop operation.
- Move topics by using

. - Move topics by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+arrow keys.
- Select multiple topics on the same level and move them together.
- Right-click somewhere in the topic hierarchy.
- Point to Contents Design, and then select Contents Design
.
- Build groups of topics by adding topics as subtopics to other topics. One topic can only belong to one group.
- Create Contents Entries.
NotesThe hierarchy is saved in the DOX project file. To save your changes, save the project before you exit it.
You can also assign hierarchical information using tags in your source files. Group, topicorder and contentsentry tags in your source files are not updated using Contents Design. If there is TOC information available for a topic in source files and in you project files only TOC information in your project file is used. To remove TOC information from your project file you can use the Remove TOC Information tool on the Tools Menu.
