The trial versions are fully functional, the are only a few exceptions to that:

• Trials generate a copyright notice on all pages.
• Trials will run 30 days from the first start.
• For trials with XML output support (Doc-O-Matic Professional and Doc-O-Matic for Authoring) the output is limited to 30 topics.

If you plan to create HTML Help, Help 2 or Windows Help you need the Microsoft Help compilers. The Help compilers are a separate download, click here for more information.
